While working as director of communications for Monaco based sport events marketing agency Star Production, the existing website did not cater for our needs. After too many meetings with the web designer agency, I decided to make the website myself, as I wanted 100% control over it, and independence from anyone else and their working hours.

The website was then developed with Joomla 1.5 and expanded rapidly over the next 18 months, just like the event series. 17 events in 11 destinations are represented on the mega-website, published in 6 languages, updated by 12 editors in the local offices, generating 25.000 unique visitors each month.

I stopped developing the website as I stopped working for Star Production in April 2011, but you can still see it on-line at star-events.cc
